My Blog Name

So, I wanted to explain to everyone how I picked my blog name "One Little FootStep At A Time". This took me a lot of thought ! I was up till 3AM trying to figure it out.. I used generators, searched and wrote out my favourite things ... Nothing was comming to me.. I was just about to give up and say screw this I'm not making a blog anymore.. So I slept on it hoping to wake up and have brilliant idea .. Lol! Seemed to work out! Ta-Da ! A light bulb went off. I wanted a name that included a bunch of things tied into one. So here comes the explanation. I don't know if any of you are aware of the the poem known as " Footprints In The Sand".
 Here is it;

"One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord. Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.

In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand. Sometimes there were two sets of footprints, other times there was one only.

This bothered me because I noticed that during the low periods of my life, when I was suffering from anguish, sorrow or defeat, I could see only one set of footprints, so I said to the Lord,

“You promised me Lord,
that if I followed you, you would walk with me always. But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life there has only been one set of footprints in the sand.
 Why, when I needed you most, have you not been there for me?”

The Lord replied, “The years when you have seen only one set of footprints, my child, is when I carried you.”

So ever since I had my daughter I have been or at least am trying to be apart of God&Jesus' life. I feel that it's quite important I be faithful to them since I am Catholic and they gave me this beautiful child.  I figured the words of this poem is PERFECT for a blog name! It's just a reminder that every step you take you are guided. The "little" is a reminder to my daughter that I will also be there to help her get through the toughest situations possible... As long as she allows me to.

Every step we take in life is guided by Jesus Christ himself! I now realize this.. So whenever I'm in a storm I know I have hope that the power above will be there every second.
