Meeting my boyfriend

So eleo and I go way back. We use to date other people but hung around each other sometimes.. That's how we knew eachother. We officially met and started being friends in 2010. Eleo and I had met at night school. I was taking an extra credit just cause, nerd right? Lol anyways. I didn't really like him, I actually disliked him. I remember turning to my friend at the time and saying "is this a joke, why is he in this class". Little did I know, that this was the guy I was going to fall in love with.. Well as time passed, we were doing a Halloween Haunted House I forget where, we were actually helping set it up. Eleo started talking to me, and sure I started talking back.. Small talk, nothing big. It was raining one night and he offered to drive me home.. I declined for the only reason, my friend was with me and I didn't want her to take the bus home by herself.. It was pretty far and I felt bad.. Well days kept passing by we started talking more and more.. Only in person though we didn't have eachothers numbers yet. I was starting to get pretty flirty with him.. If you read my other blogs you'd know that I was in a pretty big ditch right before I met him. Going through a lot of stuff because of my previous boyfriend.. So I felt like I was finally catching a break.. Time went on and we started hanging out more and more besides it being at night school. He started driving me home from night school too. It seemed like both of us were experiencing the same stuff. One night he kissed me... I was pretty happy I mean I really liked him at this point. Well it was too good to be true.. He still didn't completely break off connection with one of his exes, they weren't dating, but they were friends. And my ex was still crazy as ever stalking me and what not... So we spent a lot of time fighting where we just stopped talking.. Around Christmas time we started talking again..  We went out had fun, drove everywhere did lots of things. I mean I was head over heels for this guy. We started dating in January 2011. From there it was still pretty rocky.. But we stuck it out. We actually broke up for a couple months and got back together in April 2011. Our problems consisted of our exes not allowing us to be together, spreading a ton of rumors about eleo and I.. They bascially made it physically impossible to be together.. Well this never ended we just decided to fight for our realtionship, we were happy together if people didn't like that then that was just too bad. Now that doesn't mean we didn't fight cause we do fight and that normal!!! Everyone has arguments. I use to be a verrrry jealous person to, which caused a lot of arguments. But hey, I got over it. We ended up breaking up the summer before I started college cause we fought a lot. We ended up getting back together and on our 2 year anniversary I found out that we were expecting. I was scared shitless 18 years old about to have a baby.. He was scared too, but very excited!!! He was honestly the best boyfriend when I was pregnant. I craved something, he got it. I was mad, he tried to make me happy. Lol if you read my other blog you'd know I was miserable pregnant! High five to my boyfriend to sticking It out!!! Lol. He was there for me when I was in labor tried to make me as comfortable as possible. Nothing really helped in that situstion though, I was in pain and nothing was gunna help. But he was great. He didn't pass out in delivery, squirm nothing!!! He's a great father to his daughter and a great boyfriend. We still have our fights.. But we are still together and we work everything out. We wanna show our daughter a strong relationship, so when she grows up she doesn't have to go through what I did or him. We made 3 years this January, we live together,  and it's been hard, but it's a great learning experience!

Hope this gives everyone a little background of us:D

Portuguese Chicken Recipe

Hey everyone! This blog is going to be a recipe my grandma taught me. It's chicken and potatoes, with sauce .. It's so yummy! Please let me know of any of you try it!!! I'd love to hear reviews!!!

Ingredients
1 onion sliced however your prefer
2 garlic cloves thinly sliced
1 can of tomato paste
Portuguese hot pimento sauce ( i use the brand FERMA, and they also have sweet too of you don't like spicy)
olive oil
5-6 potatoes
Boneless chicken (breast, leg, wings, I used bonless and skinless breast but it all works
Salt
Black pepper
Seasoning salt

The first step is to put the tomato paste at the bottom of the tray and spread it out.

Next your going to add the onions and garlic to the tray as much as you'd like.

Then you can put the pimento sauce, I drain it and then put it in cause my boyfriend doesn't like the seeds.

Then you can drizzle olive oil in the pan over everything in there.

Now you can can out the potatoes, I usually skin them and cut them in half around the pan. ( if your a little confused I'll post a picture of what it looks like before and after )

In a seperate bowl I season the chicken with seasoning salt, pimento sauce, garlic powder, pinch of black pepper and I put some onions in the bowl and mix it all up.

I then place the chicken in the middle of the pan.

Preheat the oven to 350.

Cover the top of the pan with foil and lift the four corners up just a little. This will allow the potatoes to cook!

Once in this oven check it in about 15 minues, flip the potatoes and chicken , recover and put it back in untill it's done!
Usually takes 35 mintues in my oven. But everyone has a different stove! So keep an eye on it

You can salt if you'd like. Personally doesn't need much. Do it before you put it in the oven.

Before it was cooked
I kinda rub the sauce all over everything.

After it's cooked

The hot sauce I use is

Enjoy! Thanks guys :)

Becoming a Mom

Hey everyone! This blog post is going to be about how much being a mom changes your life.

Once you become pregnant you already know your life isn't going to revolve around yourself anymore. But it really doesn't become reality until you give birth. Forget about doing your hair perfectly, your make up, going outside whenever you want, eating when your hungry, peeing by yourself.. It's not going to happen.. Lol!
Showers? Taken at night when avah is down for the night.
Makeup&Hair? Done in 30 mins while she's asleep.
Washroom breaks? Most of the time while I'm holding her.
Shopping? Maybe once a week with her, she likes to be held so mostly holding her and shopping at the same time.
Sleep? Forget about it. People say sleep when the baby sleeps.. If you do that you'll never get anything done. Nothing!!
Sleeping in? HAaaa, not happening.
Cooking? Avah is usually in a carrier on me, or I cook when she's asleep. So yes sometimes I'm eating at 9pm.
Blogging? During naps.
Point is it's not easy.. Everything changes. I had a really easy time when avah was a newborn. She slept a lot. Now that she's getting older... Boy oh boy.. She doesn't like to sleep often...

Now just imagine yourself everyday doings, but now add a child to it?
Would you be able to continue doing everything you've done? Probably not.
I mean it's completely worth it, I love my daughter.

If your in school that's another thing to think about. I was in college and had to stop, cause I have a baby to take care of. School plus baby! No way

Friends? Forget about it, you'll loose so many individuals when you have a baby cause you can no longer go out every weekend.

Pretty Manicure? Won't stay pretty too long. Lol first day I get my nails done they are ruined in about 1 hour ethier broken or not shiny anymore! Lol

Your 100$ clothes? Don't even think about wearing that around a baby! Your bound to get it ruined with something !!!
( pee, poo, drool, puke) SOMETHING WILL HAPPEN LOL!!!

Cellphones and IPad? Apparently are theirs not yours...
Watching tv? I'm always watching disney junior... DRIVES ME INSANSE!!!
Cleaning? When the baby is sleeping.

Lol now see how many things I've mentioned that I do when she's sleeping? And she doesn't sleep sometimes or takes two 30 min naps a day!!! crazy right??!

It's the most rewarding job ever don't get me wrong, but once your a parent it's not like a day time job, where you clock out at 5 and have days off. This is a 24 hours a day 7 days a week job! You don't only have to think for yourself now you thinking for yourself and your baby.

Yes, EVERYTHING CHANGES!!!

Loosing Baby Weight

Hey everyone! Today I wanna discuss how I've been getting the baby weight I gained off. I mean, let's face it, not all of us bounce back like most do... I certainly didn't. So I wanna share how I've done it. As you all know I gained about 65 pounds in pregnancy YIKES! Your only suppose to gain 30... So I lost about 25 pounds after I gave birth. Which left me at 155. This was not the weight I wanted to be at! I want to be atlesst at 130 pounds.

First very important thing is eating healthy! I've never been the type to eat healthy. I've had such a fast matabolism my whole life that I could eat whatever the heck I wanted and not gain a pound... After I had my daughter that changed.. I started eating more vegetables less greasy foods.. And it helped a lot...

Cut out any sodas or juice!!! This method makes you loose a quick and easy 10 pounds right off the bat!!! Water water water! I know water sucks. I use to hate water... Couldn't stand it.. Now it's my bestfriend. I mean if that's how I'm going to loose weight then I'm loving it every second!

I also eat foods in moderation. So if I'm gunna eat pasta I only eat about 1 cup. Or ice cream, one scoop.. Everything is moderation for me now... I mean don't think of it as a diet think of it as a healthy lifestyle. If you put your mind to it you can do it!!!!

A healthy way to loose weight is loosing 1-2 pounds a week.. Some weeks you won't loose weight ethier and some weeks you'll loose more then you thought. But don't give up!!!!

Always have three meals a day and two snacks... Yes I don't always follow this rule cause it's hard with a infant.. But even if you have to prep before.. Do that. I've also purchased frozen healthy meals. Smart Ones! They go on sale very often for about 2$ and they are low in calories. Well most of them. It's really saved me when my daughter has wanted to be held all day and I'm STARVING!!!!

Now in 7 weeks I've lost a total of 15.6 pounds !!! EASY RIGHT. ? Not eating anything speical, haven't really exercised gunna start as soon as weather gets better! I'm currently at 140. It's not where I wanna be but I'm getting there

Ladies remeber it took you 9 months to make a baby don't expect results in 2 months give yourself up to a year!!!!!

If you have any questions please feel free to ask me! I'm open to answering anything and everything!!!

Rough Patches in life...

Hey guys, in this blog in going to be writting about my teenage years... They weren't the greatest as you can tell from the title but I'm willing to share it with you guys..

So when I was in grade seven I started becoming quite popular I'd say..  I hung out with the cool girls and whatever else.. I finally fit in. Well fitting in was probably not the best choice from me and I probably could of avoided a lot of stupid choices I made in the up coming years. Girls when your mother tells you that someone is no good for you... Do not ignore her MOTHERS ARE ALWAYS RIGHT!!!! Yeah my mother warned me over and over and over again that these "friends" were not my friends... Boy was she right.. But of course teenagers rebel, lol I went a lot more then rebelling. Whatever, I started hanging out in parks with lots of girls and guys, peer pressured in to smoking cigarets. From here my life just kept going down hill. I started arguing with my mother a lot , who really just wanted to best for me (sorry mom, love you <3). And then the stupid relationships came.. I dated someone when I was like 14 who was a lot older then me, who had a child . BIG MISTAKE!!!!!!! I will not get into details about any of these relationships because I do not like to talk about this time in my life .. And then 15 dated another guy who was abusive towards me, and I actually needed to get a restraining order... Crazy right ? Girls please please please learn from me! A man who doesn't treat you good does NOT deserve you! Do not stick around cause they usually never change maybe the odd case but abusive men especially DO NOT CHANGE! Okay throughout this couple years I was spiralling outta control... I lied about where I was what I was doing who I was with... I just wanted to finally be accepted by a guy for me... Seemed impossible at the time . My current boyfriend and the father of my child is who met me when I was a mess, and he honestly was def not the type for me in the beginning. I'll write our story in another blog... But he stuck by me and helped me get on track with my life.. I started relaxing the more people I let go the better I became.. I don't know how to explain this well but, he like saved me from possibly hitting rock bottom... Hitting any lower then I was. I got into the partying phase and wanting to be out everywhere all the time .. You name it blizzard I was there, thunderstorm COUNT ME IN... My mother always told me she could never keep me inside. Any who.. Once I stopped hanging out at parks with my friends the negativity slowly disappeared.. I was also getting old and those scenes were getting quite boring.. Since I was also in a serious relationship with my current boyfriend he helped me move out of all the madness.. I stopped hanging out with about 95% of the people that got me into trouble, I started college and I got my life back on track.. My mother and I also started developing a rather close realtionship.. I wasn't lying anymore, I was bascially working and going to school everyday, or with my boyfriend.

Let me just say one thing.. Friends that gossip about other to you and doing the same thing behind your back! I had a couple of friends that said my boyfriend was no good and if I dated him they wouldn't be my friends. That folks, are not TRUE FRIENDS...

Well, lessons learned.. I no longer hang out with a lot of people, I have a few close friends and that's about it..

Hope you enjoyed :)

P.S : Listen to your mothers, mothers are always right :)

Goodnight :D

Guest Blog Post - Christina Lane

Hey everyone! Today I have a GUEST BLOG POST! She is the sweetest person ever, has kids of her own, and has been through some tough situations in her life which she describes in her post!! For more blogs from Christina, check out her blog link it'll be posted at the bottom of this blog! If you guys are book worms she also has an amazing book out called " More of you, Less of Me"! I read the book in one day! It was such an inspiring story!

Okay guys here it is;

First I’d like to start off by saying thank you Kayla for this opportunity to be a guest on your blog and share a little bit of my story. I’m really honored.

Hi there! My name is Christina. I’m a young mom to three amazing, awesome kids. Ok, one adult and two teens.  Now they weren’t always an adult and two teens. They started off as little wee babies.

Allow me to share a little bit of my story with you.

I’m a former teen mom.  At the fresh ripe age of 17, I gave birth to my son. I had no idea what I was in for but I did know that I wanted to be the best mom I could ever be.  Life threw many challenges my way and by the grace of God I buckled up and held on tight. My son’s biological dad was not up for this challenge and chose, with my help, a different path of life. So here I was 17 years old with a child. As time went on, and many heartaches and challenges later, I met someone.

Long story short, we got together and at the wonderful age of 19, guess what??? Yup, I got pregnant again! In June of 1995, I gave birth to my second child. Oh, did I mention I got married too? Yes, I did. So here I was 19 years old with two children, a husband and a cat. Life was far from easy. We were on a roller coaster of crazy for a couple of years, trying to make things work. It was a hard life. I was very lonely and felt very sad. Although I felt so sad, I loved my kids. We had fun together. My two kids loved each other and we spent a lot of time togetherIf life was not challenging enough, guess what happened next? After my 21st birthday, I received a late birthday gift. Can you guess what it was? If you guessed another child, you are correct!

So here I was, 21 years old with three kids under the age of four. One magnificent boy and two beautiful girls.

Thinking back to my early days as a young mom, I can’t believe the things that we went through. I did a lot of growing up. A lot.As my kids grew, I grew. I changed. I embraced parenting.

Here are a few things that I did, and still do today, to help make me a better parent:

-
I chose to go with the flow of each day. By that I mean, if the dishes didn’t get done, they didn’t get done. If I had plans for the day and the day didn’t go with “my plans”, well so be it. I placed no expectation on the day. I went with where the kids were at and what they wanted to do (depending on what it was) haha.
-
TAKE TIME FOR YOURSELF!! Take a bath, do yoga, pray and meditate, exercise, whatever it is, BE SURE TO DO SOMETHING NICE FOR YOURSELF IF NOT DAILY, WEEKLY!! I cannot stress this enough.
-
If you are with your partner, GO ON DATES! At least once a week or every two weeks, do something fun together, tell each other something good to one another daily. LOVE each other and HELP each other. HAPPY PARENTS ARE BETTER PARENTS ;)
-
PRAISE your child and say nice things about them. Especially when talking with other people. Your child needs to know you have their back and that they can count on you.
-
If you are a parent, BE A PARENT. Having a “single” life and being a parent is like an oxymoron to me.
-
Above all else, learn to love yourself and have FUN with your child. Laugh daily and hug often. Make choices that will better yourself and your family.

Parenting is a journey, it’s not a destination. Buckle up and enjoy the ride. You were chosen to have that child, YOU WERE CHOSEN. There’s a reason for it. Trust the process and learn to accept life on life’s terms with your child.

Today I am 38 years old. I am thriving and so are my kids. Two of my kids have graduated high school and are in University and college (I have an ear to ear grin as I type that). My son is actually going to be graduating from university this coming June. How’s that for teen mom statistics?? J My youngest daughter is finishing up high school. She’s got one more year to go. My relationships with each of my kids are amazing. Not only am I their mom, we are friends. I love them to bits! They saved my life. Today I can look back and thank God for this life He chose for me.

To all you parents out there, hang on through the tough times, they pass. Love yourself and be kind to you and your child, help each other out. Give each other a break. And here’s a very good question to ask yourself when the kids get “out of hand”, “Is this the hill I want to die on today?” Chances are it’s not. Hang on and take breaks when you need them. Live in the day you’re in. Forget tomorrow.

You are special. You are awesome. You are loved. Yup you are.

Bullying

It's time I discuss something a little different , something that has probably been discussed many many many times...

Bullying is wrong! Honestly why must people break other people down to feel a sense of satisfaction in their lives? This his horrible. I mean I see girls on my instgram (mothers mostly) ripping eachother apart... I'd just like to say, what if that was your daughter or son being treated that way? What if you had to hear your children crying because society just wouldn't accept them for who they are? I know bullying hurts.. It cuts deep wounds that can't be fixed all the time... People commit suicide daily because people are being horrible human beings... ATTN BULLIES: my question to you is why? Why rip people apart? I've asked this question many times and there's always an answer, " she's a slut" "he's stupid and ugly" "she/he dated my ex boyfriend/girlfriend" " she's emo" "she sent out nudes" STOP ALL THE JUDGEMENT... Do you know this persons full detailed story? Have you taken the time to figure out why they are acting out? Most bullies would say no to that. So instead of ripping people apart why not try and help them! HELLO EVERYONE OUR CHILDREN ARE GROWING UP IN THIS SOCIETY!! What they see is what they'll do. It's up to us to change that.. Take a stand, if you know someone who is getting bullied help them out, don't be a by stander..

Controversial Parenting Topics

Hey everyone ! I'm going to be writing about controversial parenting topics! This is my own opinion and I really don't mean to offend anyone who reads this! It is not my intention at all! If you easily and quickly offended please do not read this...

Bottle/Formula Feeding
I was bottle and formula fed, my daughter is as well.. Does this mean babies aren't healthy or growing at the rates they should be? No it does not. Formula has all the nutrition a baby really needs.. Breast is always claimed best. I totally get thatmkBut really speaking some mother physically can't breast feed! Some don't produce at all or enough, some stop due to the pain of breastfeeding (chapped nipples, Bleeding nipples, etc), some can't get their child to latch properly. I Just don't think mothers should be frowned upon or judged because of this... A baby being FED IS BEST! Doesn't matter if it's formula or breast feeding!

Purchasing Gender Specfic Items
So I think that boys and girls should be able to play with whatever they want! If a boy wants a doll, he should play with it! If a girl wants to play with toy cars , she should! Most people think that if a child likes the opposite genders toys that they will turn homosexual... Honestly, this is wrong.. Kids will become whatever they want, not depending on what they play with.. What if a little boy who plays house or with dolls becomes the greatest superhero dad ever? What if a girl who plays with cars becomes an awesome race car driver? I for one  loved playing sports, wearing boy clothes, hair tied all the time, I was pretty tom boy. It doesn't change who I am.. So if your children wanna play with something, let them. They might enjoy it they might not.. But it doesn't matter!!

Crying it Out
I personally would never let my daughter "cry it out". I don't think this is an effective way of teaching your child anything, I'm not saying that every whimper should be responded to, but when they start crying crying they are communicating that something is bothering them!! Children need to be taught not let to cry! I read a picture once that said children who cry it out have stopped crying because they've lost all hope of anyone trying to help them... This made my heart break into pieces.. I couldn't stand my own child to ever feel that way! I feel that this is NOT something I would ever do with my children. But every parents has their own opinion and I don't judge anyone! If it works for you then go for it!

Vaccinations vs No Vaccinations
I think vaccinations are made to protect our children from harmful diseases. I vaccinate my daughter... This I know is a huge debate topic amongst the mothers I follow on instgram... Vaccinations were made to protect our children, sure they suck, I completely get that! But don't you want your children to be protected against measles, chicken pox, and the other 100 things it covers? All I'm saying is if it was unsafe for babies to have, I don't think they would make them..

Abortion

Behold the inheritance of the Lord are children: the reward, the fruit of the womb. {Psalms 127:3}

I'm PROLIFE. I think every baby deserves a chance! A life is a life no matter what.. I once seen on a networking site someone post " at 7 weeks it's only a sack of cells it's not killing". I'm sorry but this hurts my heart terribly. It's a life right at conception! Many people may disagree with me and that's fine because as I said everyone has their own choices. I just think there are other ways! For instance, Adoption.. Do you know how many people crave to grow a baby inside their bodies and long to love one even if it didn't come from their own body...? LOTS! I mean why abort when you can give this sweet innocent soul to someone who'd be wiling to give it all the love and items that they need? If your excuse for an abortion is you weren't ready, they I don't think you should have been having sexual intercourse.. Cause your obviously not ready for that ethier. once again I AM NOT TRYING TO OFFEND ANYONE! This is just my personal opinion, and I also do not judge!!! I just personally WOULDNT DO IT MYSELF!

Natural Birth vs. Pain Medication
First off if you had a natural birth, your literally a superhero! I mean it!! It's very very hard. Labor pain is the worst pain I've ever felt in my life.. I personally had no doubts I knew straight from beginning I was going to get an epidural. Many people say that this complicates your labor! It does no doubt, I probably wouldn't have ripped or been cut if I could actually feel I was pushing.. But the  thing where your baby is drugged... I don't believe that is true at all... My child came out screaming and yelling and very alert. Natural birth is better for you, but not everyone has a high pain tolerance.

Circumcision vs No Circumcision
This is big too. I mean for girls I don't think it should be done unless it's a religious thing.. But for boys it has a lot of benefits. Prevents infection that happens between the skin ( it's easier to keep clean), helps not develop and uti, reduces the chance of penile cancer. If I had a boy I would look into this a lot more before actually doing the procedure.

 And God said unto Abraham, Thou shalt keep my covenant therefore, thou, and thy seed after thee in their generations. This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised. {Genesis 17:9-10}

Cloth diapers vs Disposable
I personally would never do cloth diapers.. Sure it's cheaper and whatever.. But disposable are just as good.. I mean I barley have time to do things in a day with an infant, could you imagine having to add about 5 extra things ? This is definitely not for me. I mean people swear up and down that this is better and what not... But really diapers don't have nutrition or anything it's just soaking up poo and pee...

Child harness and Leashes
I know someone out there probably has a kid that runs, takes off, hides in racks at the stores. But I mean I just think leashes are mean... It's a child not an animal.. Holding the child's hand is just as effective.. Lol. Or put your child in a stroller or shopping cart.. I don't like the idea of these leashes and harness' they make children look like they belong in a zoo or cage.

Baby Piercing
Okay. I for one think it's totally ok to pierce a child's ear. It's not "tagging". I've heard soooo many times I can't even count that getting your daughters ears done are considering tagging them... To each their own right.. But hey, it looks cute and it's gone on for years and years.. I guess I was tagged at 3 months old.. Totally Joking...

Finding out gender of your Unborn baby
Why not? I mean we are living in 2014!! Now a days walk into a popular baby store and have a look around. You see a lot of blue a lot of pink but only a couple pieces of neutral... Now if your finding out the gender and terminating it, that is so very WRONG!!! You were given this beautiful innocent soul for a reason!!!! Do not be a selfish individual and terminate a pregnancy over this madness!!!

Toy Guns
Personally I don't think they should be played with unless they truly understand what a gun is... Like children play with them, not knowing that real guns actually end peoples lives... I mean hey, the more you refrain a child from doing something, the more they are going to wanna do it.. But guns are completely outta the question in my house hold!

So I mean there are thousands of these topics and I could go on and on but, these are good for now. I hope no one is offended. These are just my opinions and beliefs.

Thanks for reading !!

My Pregnancy & Labor Story

Hey everyone I decided to let you all in the details of my pregnancy & labor !

So, I was a pretty miserable pregnant person.. Lol I mean I was huge, moody, puking everyday and super hot all day long! So those all combined can make someone pretty miserable.. Well at least it did for me! I found out I was pregnant at 6 weeks. My symptoms I noticed were unusual breast pain, sleeping anywhere and everywhere, nausea and the most obvious missed period. Well as time went on, I gained weight very very fast, I was only 115 pounds before I got pregnant and I quickly was very very big! I'm not joking about it ethier I retained ALOT of water. At the end of my pregnancy I weighed 180 pounds... This actually made me very depreseed during my pregnancy. I felt like a whale and it was something im definitely not use to at all. I mean picture it in your head I'm about 5'3 in height and 180 pounds ... My mom, boyfriend and bestfriend/cousin constantly reassured me that I was having a baby so this was NORMAL. But I never listened. Anyway, my doctor had told me I was due September 30th 2013... No matter how much I had told her that she was wrong and I was due sooner (September 23 2013) she insisted saying I was having a "big baby". Ok so I'm already terrfied that I'm having a baby at the age of 19 and delivering this baby, but now my doctor had put in my head that I was going to have a sumo wrestler for a baby.. GREAT..   As if wasn't scared enough. My mother kept telling me she didn't think I was having that big of a baby. Nethier did I to be honest. But after finding outmy boyfriend   was 10 POUNDS WHEN HE WAS BORN I was postive my baby girl was going to be huge !! LOL!
Now along with depression I was constantly worrying I was going to have a still born.. Don't ask me why. But it was my worst fear and I literally made myself sick because of how much I thought of it.. I searched google about it once, the results were horrifying!! (I know, stupid me for reading google)... But hey I couldn't go talk to my doctors about this they'd probably think i was insane. I did get over this phase after a while. Thankfully!! Now I was pregnant all of SUMMER.. This I think was the most horrible time of my pregnancy... I was always extremely hot, my feet were constantly balloons and I was carrying DOUBLE THE WEIGHT THEN I NORMALLY DO.. All I'm saying people is , you should already give your mother a high five for carrying you 9 months , but please IF THEY CARRIED YOU THROUGH A WHOLE ENTIRE SUMMER WHILE IN THEIR LAST TRIMESTER PLEASE GIVE THEM A DOUBLE HIGH FIVE!! It is not easy... Lol . Pregnancy cravings were riduclous. I craved this portugese soup called "soupa de feijao" it's a soup that is made with beans and vegetables.. I made my poor boyfriend go on hunts for me for this stupid soup... We never had luck UNTIL one day we walked into a portugese chicken place and they had it.. Oh my I was the happiest person on earth! Finally I got the soup I've been craving for three weeks!! When I had finished the soup my craving was still not satisfied.. So I asked my boyfriend to please go get me more but this time with specfic instructions "ask for more beans". He did not wanna ask for more beans Cause that's obviously embarrassing, but the great boyfriend that he is, he asked for more beans just for me (awwww). I never really craved anything else to be honest except spicy foods and big glasses of milk. There came a point in my pregnancy I no longer could stand and type of meat or fish. It made me wanna throw up just looking at it.. For some odd reason I couldn't eat cereal ethier ... Every time I tried I puked (gross). Phew, I am so glad that not liking meat was only during my pregnancy! Okay okay. So now let's talk about my labor..
I was 38 weeks pregnant and was already completely finished with being pregnant... I wanted this baby out.. Nothing had seemed to work though. I walked, i did sqauts, I ate pineapple, I eat extra spicy food. Still nothing. One night my boyfriends sister was driving me home. She took Eglinton down, my oh my did this street have so many pot holes, and she drives a car that's quite lowered... I swear this is what putme into   labor. At 3 o'clock am on Wednesday September 18 2013 I woke up with cranky feelings like I needed to take a poop (sorry TMI) .. I didn't actually need to. Just pee. When I went to lie back down the pain started again. So I'm thinking to myself, just great I have Braxton Hicks at 3am! So I just stood there cause lying down was much too painful and started timing them... Oh, they were 5 mintues apart... So I held off thinking ok this is going to stop... UHHH noo.. The pain was so bad I started crying.. I then went to tell my mom.. Lol she didn't believe I was in labour , she said you sure.. I kept saying I didn't know... Just in case I was being tricked or something. I told her I'm gunna try taking a bath.. Well that didn't go to well . It hurt like HELL TO SIT DOWN.. I was thinking to myself I need to go to the hospital I should call my boyfriend . He is the hardest person alive to wake up outta his sleep.. Thankfully I caught him before he was going to work. I got to the hospital at 5:45am with contractions 30seconds - 1 min apart. When I was being examined the nurse said to me that she doubted I was anywhere past 1 cm... Well when she checked me I was at 5cm.. She almost fell backwards.. I got admitted to delivery right away. It was no becoming real, I wasn't going home being pregnant... This terrified me. Luckily I got to the hospital when I did cause about 7 ladies walked in right after me in labour! When I got to delivery room I couldn't sit, stand walk NOTHING I was crying. This was the worst feeling and pain in the world.. I needed that epidural. I finally got one at about 7:40am and phew.. That is a life saver.. TO ANY MOTHERS WHO HAD THEIR CHILDREN WITH NO DRUGS CONGRATULATIONS YOUR LITERALLY A SUPER HERO! The nurses let the epidural kick in before checking me again. When they checked me I was at 7.5cm, this is when they broke my water. They told me to take a nap but I couldn't with that huge red clock infront of my bed... So I just waited and waited .. All of sudden I heard the monitor start beeping.. My daughters heartbeat was getting really low.. They started flipping me side to side.. They couldn't get it back up... Everything happend really fast after this... Suddenly my room was full of doctors and nurses my boyfriend mom and I started to panic... I was put on oxygen and the table was getting ripped open for me to start pushing.. I was crying uncontrollably.. I was so scared... My boyfriend and mom were re assuring me everything was going to be ok.. But I thought other wise. They ended up turning my epidural off. I was waaaay to numb which was why my daughters heart beat was dropping rapidly. So I started to push I blacked out while pushing, don't really remeber much except feeling my but coming off the table cause she was pulling the baby with forceps.. I only pushed for about five mintues. My beautiful baby girl was then born at 11:22am weighing in 6 pounds 9 oz and 19 inches long.. She was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.. Now I couldn't really hold her right after I gave birth since I was getting stitched up.. (They cut me and I ripped). When they were done and I was actually able to hold her, I almost fainted due to the fact I was extremely weak and exhausted . My poor bubba had bruising on her face from the forceps it broke my heart into peices. But she was healthy which made it all ok... Now I swear after labour was more painful then actually giving birth!!!!!! I couldn't walk, move, nothing... Oh did I mention I couldn't go pee by myself ethier? Yeah, I couldn't go... Cause of the stupid catheter they inserted.... Well I was numb for most of the day after giving birth pain only started to hit me at night.. I was now feeling it all.. The tyelnol wasn't working.. So they had to give me strong painkillers... That didn't work ethier... Instead I then started feeling a pain in my chest... Here I'm thinking I'm going to have a heart attack or something.. So a nurse came in and hooked me up to a bunch of monitors to see if my heart was the problem... It wasn't thankfully. I pulled a muscle in my chest from pushing... Ouch... I got released the next day with my baby girl. She passed all the tests with flying colours... I couldn't sit in my mothers car.. It hurt so bad so I was standing the whole time.. Lol. Thank god for my boyfriend and mom because if it wasn't for them I probably wouldn't have ever healed.... I spent the next three weeks in ALOT OF PAIN. But I think it was all worth it for the beautiful baby I got out of it :)

3.No one is ever quite ready; everyone is always caught off guard. Parenthood chooses you. And you open your eyes, look at what you've got, say "Oh, my gosh," and recognize that of all the balls there ever were, this is the one you should not drop. It's not a question of choice.

4.Mother love is the fuel that enables a normal human being to do the impossible.
— Marion C. Garretty

7.
And I realized when you look at your mother, you are looking at the purest love you will ever know. — Mitch Albom

8.The natural state of motherhood is unselfishness. When you become a mother, you are no longer the center of your own universe. You relinquish that position to your children.

When you are a mother, you are never really alone in your thoughts. A mother always has to think twice, once for herself and once for her child.
